Tuning for TSM/TDP

I have just upgraded one of our AIX clients from ADSM 3.1 to TSM 4.1 running TDP 3.2 for SAP R3. Although the backup and restores work OK, they are a lot slower. Is there any tuning parameters that need to be reset or added?
