Hi All,
I have read all of the relevant posts on this topic and it has allowed me to get this far but now I'm stuck. I’m using CR 8, SQL 7, SmartActiveXViewer with ASP on IIS5. I have a main report with 6 sub reports. Originally we set it up so that CR was given the stored procedures but EACH time a new page was loaded CR called all 7 stored procedures. Ex. If a report had 7 pages (Main page and 6 sub reports) it would call all 7 sps for each page! Way too slow and expensive. So I decided to try the active data driver and TTX files. It works for new reports, however if I attempt to convert an existing report, one that previously used ODBC, I get SQL Server Error. Obviously CR is still trying to hook up with the server. How can I get CR to "forget" the old connection method? The reports are very complicated graphically starting from scratch would take two programmers 2 weeks at least. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED
Sincerely,
Joe Raso
