Why do I lose around 150-200 TTL's just from passing through a FII V 5 --

That seems odd. How have you confirmed this?

We have several FII's and they all seem to do it

traceroute 1.1.1.4

1.1.1.1 TTL 254
1.1.1.2 TTL 253
1.1.1.3 TTL 59 <-- this is the firewall
1.1.1.4 TTL 58

ping also does the same --

I'm running a FBII 6.1 w/ hot fix. I cannot reproduce this. I lose only 1 as would be expected. Which version of the software are you running?

I'm stumped unless it is a version issue. Is it causing an issue? Sounds like it might be worth a call to WG tech support if it is.
