tsm 5.3 server with 5.1 windows client

I found this compability description in one of my bookmarks:
Seems you can Backup via 5.1 Client, but no word about restores.. To be sure, maybe try it on a test machine, if it works. There are often things that works somewhat ok, even they are not supported. I guess it's worth a try. Good luck!

Hi there... I have a few 5.1 clients on 5.3 - No problems... just not supported by IBM. Can you upgrade the client?
