TSM 5.2 server client requirements

I we have a TSM server running at AIX with os 4.3.3, and TSM version 5.1 and we have aix boxes at os 4.3.

I know we need to upgrade the os of the server from aix 4.3 to aix 5l so that we can run TSM 5.2 my question is will our aix clients running 4.3 os will be upgraded also to 5L for the tsm 5.2?

Yes, but you can backup a 5.1 client to a 5.2 server so you would not need to upgrade the client any time soon.

OK Thanks for the reply .. in my understanding we can still backup the aix boxes with os 4.3.3 as long the tsm version running on servers is TSM 5.1, eventhough our TSM server is TSM 5.2 we can still back them up will there be any issue about it? am I right in the interpretation of your answer?

You are correct. A TSM 5.2 server can backup a 5.1 client.
