Hello everyone!
I have been pulling my hair over this issue so any pointer would be great
I have only a few users that have started to experince this issue on terminal sever.
Whenever the user in question loggs in, their temp profile is created as UserName.DOMAIN and deleted on the logout. To my understanding this is how the profile is supposed to be cached....
The problem is that their "true proflie"
(just the "UserName" vs. "UserName.DOMAIN")
never gets updated or used so all the work/files created are gone ones the user loggs out.
I have even tried pointing their Terminal Server Profile to the exact location \\TerminaServer\Share\UserName
but still no change.
The strangest thing of all is that other users can login fine and pull their profiles (from C:\Documents and Settings\UserName) and never create the 'cached' profile of C:\Documents and settings\UserName.DOMAIN.
I have compared users and they seem to be configured the same...with the same user rights, groups etc.
Please if anyone has a suggestion it is more than welcome...I am running out of hair to pull
Many thanx in advance!
All the best!

ok,ok...I did shoot the deputy but he told me he was the sheriff!
