I have a form with only 1 text box on it. I am trying to scan a 25 digit barcode with a scanner and have the results appear within the text box. All I ever get is the last digit of the barcode in the text box. The scanner works fine with MSExcel, MSWord, Notepad, Wordpad etc... so I can determine that it is an Access problem. Does this sound familiar to anyone ? I can type in the digits manually on the keyboard which also works fine. Any ideas/thoughts. Thanks so much.

Forgot to mention using MSAccess 2000.

Check the length of your text box (underlying field length).

Is your scanner setup to send an auto return? Check what the Enter Key behavior is on your form.

Hope this helps,

Funny thing about being unemployed, weekends don't mean quite so much, just means you get to hang out with your working friends. Primus
