ever since installing this the computer has run really slowly.
Previously uninstalled version Studio 7.
I have run Spybot, Adaware, and full scan with NAV.
I have run out of ideas as to how to get it up to speed again.

I have forgotten how to make sure there are no little bits of the old progamme left behind. I just wondered if that had anything to do with the problems.
Also if anyone knows how to turn off NAV Parental controls I would be grateful. It takes ages to laod the list on startup. I looked in the options but couldn't find out if I can do that.We don't really need them.

It is not just the pinnacle program that runs slowly everything does. Especially when trying to close things.
Hope this is clear enough.
About 15 GB free(at least)
Thanks in advance.

Forgive my mistakes it's how I learn!

Some NAV links.

I don't use NAV but it sounds like the Parental Control is either installed or not installed by choice. You can remove it via the first link.

As to your machines general slowness, look at these to see if you have missed anything in your troubleshooting steps.

What is the size of your RAM and rated speed of your machine?

FAQ779-4784 may help.
