i bought a javelin computer with an aloha pos system. when i turn it on it goes directly to the aloha pos screen and gets stuck on grind 20080621. any suggestions

This file is also available in your other dated subs. You can copy it from an old subdirectory and paste to that folder.
However, you are probably going to have more issues than just that- has it not been used since that date? Sounds like you make a have a front of house/back of house set up.
