We just put in G5 Macs in our environment and are using Quark 6. We currently have Quark 3 running on PC's that get all images from a repository folder on a Windows 2000 server that contains 25,000 items. On the PC we were able to specify the picutre we wanted to load by name and it would be loaded quickly. On the Mac we can't find this feature and the OS tries to list all 25,000 items before we can select the file we would like. Macs don't seem to have any way to enter the file you want loaded. You always have to select from a list. Is there an Xtension or a way the we can specify the file we would like to load without having to scroll through the full list. Any help would be appreciated.
