I program VB and C++ projects with the NOW() formula all of the time, but I can't figure out how to get just the date and not the time when using formulas in an Excel spreadsheet. I found that it varies quite a bit from Access, and I haven't used date and time formulas in Excel since I was in school ;) Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks, Richard

Have you tried to format the cell that the date is in? If not, I believe this will solve your problem.

Good luck. Mahalo,

Yup - you can either format Now() as dd/mm/yy (or mm/dd/yy) OR you can use =TODAY() which will return the date only - although, if you format it as dd/mm/yy hh:mm, you'll still get 19/07/02 00:00
