Trusting a SBS domain problems

Hi

I can't get our NT4 domain and SBS domain trusting each other. I've added domain 2 to the 'trusting' entry on domain 1 (NT4), but when I try and add domain 1 as the trusted on the SBS server, I get an 'access is denied' error. Nothing showing in event viewer on either machine. Any ideas, or am I trying to do something impossible?
