Trust Relationship failed when trying to add users

I have a win Small Business Server 2000 and xp pro workstations. I can join them to the domain without any problems. When I try to add a user from the domain I get the error message "Trust Relationship failed". I am getting this erro more and more freqeuntly. Now this is any issue with every new machine. I used to be able to take the workstation out of the domain and put it back in then it worked. But lately this in not working at all. I tried adding users from the win2000 server in active directory under manage computer but it doesn't let me add domain users. help!!

I changed my ip address from 192.168.1.44 to 192.168.1.49, then I added the computer to the domain at win 2000 server then joined the computer to the domain at the actual server, then I added the domain users at the server under mangae computer, groups, power users and administrators. This appears to be working but the domain users don't appear in the user list on the workstation.
