Hi

we have 2 x w2003 srvs at one site

2 domains & ADs
connected via wireless link
the domains keep losing their trust relationship
so users in domain 2 loose their mapped drives to folder in domain 1

I have to recreate the trust relationship again

it's becoming a real pain
I have read there are issues with this setup, as the trusts are not fully transative

any ideas why this does not work?

I am sure the wireless link is ok and is not casuing the issue

and by the way...happy xmas :)

I would without a doubt, remove the wireless connection to start. Wireless is far from secure, even if you do advanced configuration to secure the link. Since they are at the same site, I would definitly connect them via a switch. Then see if that changes anything.

Hi

the Dlink office to office links are just site WAP links not routers, they are there because it is not possiblt to get a cable between the two offices

also, when the trust goes down, domain 2 can still access the internet through domain 1's gateway router? so the link is there, just the trust is not??
