trunk to trunk

Does anyone know if you can set-up trunk to trunk tranfers on a succesion 4.5 machine that only has copper trunks? I know........... but it's a backwoods hospital . I tried everything I know last week, but still can't get back out of the switch to public network.The customer wants to be able to forward individual phones off-site, the calls come in through auto-attendant in call pilot. the forwarding off-site works if called internally.

check the cdb opt cff/cfo.. it needs to be cff so the ncos of the forwarding station's ncos controls the call.. that and cfxa in cls,

I have heard of a patch that fixes your problem.

the bad thing about trunk to trunk with analog is if you get it to work they tend to hang anyway.. like you said pri's are cheaper then 10 or 12 analog trunks anymore

Hey Optionman, Thanks... We looked on Nortel's site and cannot find a patch that is written for a CPP4 machine running 4.5. I will open a case and let ya'll know what happens...

Check in the CLS that you have FTTU, this should allow you to conect trunk to trunk
