A trunk is out-of-service-NE, but we have no problems at the operator.
Performed busy / release on trunk.

The signaling channel is out-of-service (status signaling-group).

What else can we do?

Tks

Check the cable to the NTE , Check the NTE.......... dont believe what the carrier tells you........have you got another trunk group(im guessing its PRI) that you can swap the circuits on.

If all that fails....test the board....test the cab or MG slot.etc etc

ACSS (UC/SBCE/SM/SME)

Not that they mean a thing anymore , get a brain dump pass the test crash the system.

If the circuit has a smart jack the go look at it for any alarms, and as stated do not believe everything they tell you, also a loop back plug would come in handy

for your ds1 board:

Command: test board x

Many thanks to all for the help. We restart the gateway. It was ok.

:)

Instead of restarting the entire GW some other useful commands are-
busyout board xxxx
reset board xxxx
release board xxxx

reset module x (on the GW cli)

All the alternatives to regain the board and channels were made, but it did not work out. Thank you.
