I have a Definity G3R9. I have different group of users. For a new one, I need all calls from this group goes by specific trunk group (local and long distance calls), but I do not want to affect the configuration for other groups.

I need help.

Thanks.

You will have to set up a new set of COR's for that group which point to a different time of day chart. eg 2.

This time of day chart (or partition group) can then be set up in the change partition table to route the caller to a different set og routing tables.

The different routing tables will point to the trunk group you have stated.

The ars analysis table may have to be altered to point to the partition table form if not already and based on the COR you are in will determine which partition group you will use and what route you will go through.

It is a little complex if ARS ana is not pointing to the partition table already.

Good Luck

I have some users located in another building on their own EPN (connected via DS1-Converter), which may be similar to what you want to do.

To allow them to use the trunking in the EPN they operate out of, and not waste TDM slots back to the PPN, I have them in a different ARS Partition. This allows me to have different buildings (or groups) use different trunking to dial the same number.

Setting up is fairly easy but takes some time.

Does that sound like what you want to do?
