Is their a way to disable the consoles from being able to activate the trunk group busy key? I continue to have receptionists accidentally hitting the trunk group busy key which then blocks all outbound access to a trunk. I have no use for this feature and would like to disable it. Let me know if this is possible.

nul those keys on the console

What keys are they? Nothing jumps out at me.

Trunk Busy group are the latest key on the left side of ATT. By default OPT IC1 is configured in CDB to allow only 10 keys to be defined as ICI. By changing to OPT IC2 you will not have the capability anymore to use the trunk group busy on ATT but will be able to configure 20 ICI keys

Is their any impact on changing ATT data block from opt IC1 to IC2? Just wondering if I would be able to change this during the day or not and will the console operators notice anything or is it transparent?

no the att block does not interupt service.. changes to the 2250 would cause problems.. disable the tn and the switch can go into nights.. if you have more then 1 2250, you can make changes during business hours on one at a time.. disable the primary tn
