Trunk Group Alarming

I've got a problem system wide where the ISDN-PRI trunk groups will only go into warning alarm state when the ISDN-PRI goes down. There are 7 locations, 6 are LSPs that all have a single ISDN-PRI. I'll get a warning alarm for all 23 channels, and then the ISDN-SGR alarm will come in 2 minutes later as a warning. I thought I remembered that when at least half of your trunk group was out of service, a minor alarm showed. I need something more than a warning showing up when one of these remote locations cannot get any incoming calls. I can't get to the 'set options' screen because I don't have access to the init login anymore.

Is there anything that can be done?

If you want that set to a minor alarm, Avaya would have to get in there and change that for you. We have had that done in the past for a few of our customers.

phoneguy55, i do have it do that. but it is a scheduled event so depending on when the scheduled event happened and the trunk group goes OOS/FE, it could be a while.

mojo, i'm thinking that is what i will have to do.

I put a button on my phone called "off board alarm" If the trunk is in trouble but the span is up the light comes on.

This works for me

Thanks
ED
