Trouble finding lines after adding GATM4

I put a GATM4 into the BCM400, setting the dip switches to 110101 to put it on Bus 4 Offset 1, right next to the existing 4-trunk MBM. I thought the lines would come in as L059-L162, but when I try to make those lines appear on a set, I get nothing. In fact, I get nothing for any possible line number, other than the lines on the older MBM.

Programming is impaired because someone changed the admin password from the default and no one knows what it is now. I can get in through a phone set, though, and see that there seems to be a Cd2-Mod4 with the line numbers I expected on it.

Any ideas?

I took a look at some old notes and also found that they should appear on lines 159 to 162.

Are you able to log into the system with any known login / password?.

Thanks for reassuring me on the DIP switch settings. I'm more of a MICS guy, don't really like fussing with bus/offset settings.

There's no known admin password for this system. I'm in the third or fourth wave of techs working for new owners, and no one even knows who changed it. Apparently the only alternatives are to pay Nortel ITAS major $$ for a backdoor password of the day, or to buy a new hard drive, which my vendor says costs less but entails rebuilding the entire configuration. That's actually #1 priority to fix right now.

Getting back to the MBM, the lack of dial tone makes me wonder if there could be a fault with the unit. But I guess I'll have to get the Element Manager going to tell anything about that.
