I am using Access 2000 and have developed a treeview that displays service types which are broken down into services which are then broken down in sub services. They each have a primary key field but they also have another field called for example when its a service - service order fld and for sub service - sub service order field. This service order field is inputted by the users. I want to be able to order my treeview by this service order field and not alphaetically or by primary key field. Has anyone any idea how i might do this ?

Just a thought. In a new column in your query, can you assign an Integer to each "service order" and then sort ascending by that Integer.

SortOrder: Int([ServiceOrder])

You wouldn't have to show that SortOrder column if you didn't want to.
