Tree View not showing scroll bars

I'm using a treeview to list folders and files - no problem.
I populate the view in formload. Vertical and horizontal scroll bars don't appear even though the content is wide and long. They still don't appear if I resize the window small.
I've tried deleting the other controls on the form, but no joy. If I copy the code and the treeview to another form, it all works ok.
Any ideas?

Probably a silly question but -

Have got the Scrollable property set to True?

Sorted it - very odd.
I was using a splitter to allow the treeview and another component to be resized. I The splitter was docked to the right with the other component. The tree view was set to fill.
Changing everything to left, with the other component to fill makes it work.
