I am not sure how to do this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would like to trap the F1 key in my database so that if a user hits "F1" a custom help file is loaded that I have created.

What are any codes or commands to accomplish opening a file called help.htm that resided in the database folder?

Do I have to attach this code on every form in the database or is there a way to make it global?

Thanks!!

I looked into this a few weeks ago, & from what I remember if you enter a help context ID other than the default, it will stop loading the Access help. If you go into form design view, select the help context field for a control & press F1 you should get the help required to do this. James Goodman
