transtalk CID

Hi i will be putting in a TRANSTALK mdw-9030 with and a 408 ATL Module. Will that alow me to get system labels and externel CID from the phone company?

If so how do i program that?

No, that will only come through a Transtalk connected through an ETR or TDL card, not an ATL.

Are you sure you can connect the 9030 to a TDL card? The instructions say:

On MERLIN II and MERLIN LEGEND systems, you must connect your wireless phone to an available jack on either a 408 outside line/analogtelephone module or a 008 analog telephone module.

Of course, these instructions pre-date the ETR and TDL cards (and Magix). I can see how it would work on an ETR card, since that's just Partner simulation. But TDL??

I beliece only the 9040 works with tdl cards.

I was speaking of transtalks in general; yes the 9040's have a different version for TDL and Definity as opposed to ATL and ETR connections. The beauty of the TDL version is the single pair connection, if the radio modules need to go somewhere without adequate wiring.
