hi guys.

is there any way i can make my form transparent so that i can see the windows wall paper through the form where there is no controls?

I use Excel 97 and find no way to make a transparent UserForm.....but for a go around you could format the Excel sheet's background with the Windows backgound picture you wanted and embed just controls onto the sheet rather than onto the UserForm.
