Some settings must be horribly wrong on my Adobe Premiere. I shot some footage and go to edit it, but when I export it refuses to render transitions or effects. Even when I preview it using the ALT key it, it doesn't render. And yet, when I preview it using the actual transition or transition settings window, it renders it absolutely perfect. Also, I made a title and just for the heck of it, and successfully got it to fade transparent over my footage. It's as if the footage I saw refuses to interact with itself...only other material.

Anyone know what I need to change here?

Thanks in advance,
Dan Scog

Make sure the "Ignore Video Effects" option isn't checked in the Project Settings box.

Nope...that's clear too. And get this, yesterday I took some of my footage and brought it over to an old project containing footage that wasn't mine. The transitions/effects worked perfectly when I made an interaction between my new footage and the old stuff, but once again, when I tried to have the new footage transition into other parts of the new footage...same problem.

Somethimes Premiere does really crazy things, Maybe you'll just have to move it to the left and to the right again(Or video3, video 1) and then it will render. I had that once, and still didn't get it worked.

There were no settings in red. And after banging my head against it for a while it seems you were right Gynoom. I have to move the stupid thing back and forth 2-3 times before it will render. Very strange, but it has fixed it. Thanks to all who posted regarding my little problem. : )
