transferring passwords

First off like to thank tlbroadbent for helping me with duplicating databases.

Now I have another problem I copied a database from our production machine to our test machine. All the tables and objects were moved over. All the logins were also moved but all their passwords are null. Can someone tell me how I can move the passwords over from my production database to my new test and then have them sync up? I looked around on Microsoft but I coudn't find anything. Thanks.
