I'd like to transfer all my saved Email from 98se Outlook Express (IE6, with sp#1) to XP Pro when a new computer arrives. Should I use 3rd party software, or can I do it manually and reliably by burning a cd, or setting up a network between them ? Do I copy Windows\applications\identities\folders ? (not sure which folders I need under identities, or if I need all of them).

which method does anyone recommend ?

If 3rd party software is necessary, any recommendations ?

If manually is possible, (assuming the folder and files are compatible), are there any known bugs or hassles, or steps or tips on how to proceed ?

thx for any input
