there any noticeable loss when a call is transferred externally from using to analog lines or during a conference call?

"A phone is a phone and not a computer workstation".

This is an issue with analog lines. There is volume degrades when transferring trunk to trunk. How many people are trying to join the conference call? If it is more than two outside analog parties, this is the same issue. Maybe the telco provider can boost the signal on their end.

tell provide a compensation on the line via the PBX strong configuration
