I have an excel file, where I query several tables, and have macros set up that automagically refresh these queries. I'm using Office XP - the machine that I want these queries to work on is Office 2003. I've created the DSN, and when I create the query (workbook) off of the 2003 machine, the DSN works. When I save the workbook that I created on my own machine(XP) to the 2003 machine, I get DSN errors. When I select the 'Options...' of the log in, my machine name, and OFFice XP shows up on the 2003 machine. Somewhere Excel caches the DSN, and the library used for connection (named pipes, or tcp/ip) Is there any way to run what I've created on my XP machine to run on the 2003 machine without recreating the wheel??

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Did you use System DSN ?

Hope This Helps, PH.
