Although there is much discussion on here re this prob, I have another!
I need to be able to transfer ALL emails from my XP laptop into my NT4 Desktop when I leave/return my desk. I have looked at the *.dbx files and they total about 260MB but that's OK as the laptop has a RW CD drive.
When I do the following from within OE6 on the laptop (XP):
Files
Export
Messages
OK
"This will export messages to MS Outlook or MS Excgange" OK
I then get "The export could not be performed. An error ocurred while initialising MAPI".
As a second method, I dug right down inside the folders and found all of the .dbx files then copied them to the only folder on the desktop that had any .dbx files. However, they don't appear in OE6 on the desktop although they are physically there!
Help.. this is a mega problem for me. !!
