I have a data base I am using for Electrical Testing on site. At present I have this data base on my home PC and have been entering new data by hand, then updateing the data base on the home PC. What I want to do is enter the data directly into a lap top, and then transfer the data from the lap top to the PC, but only that data which is new needs to be transfered. I have discovered I can do this using the "Link" funtion in Access, but this is a little cumbersome because I then have to remove all the "linked" tables. Is there an eaiser way I can do this?

The Access-built-in way to do this is called Replication, an uncontrollable beast of giant mass/proportions. Or so I've heard. Check the help files on replications, and if you are not scared away by what you see, attempt to implement it. Otherwise you will have to do it the hard way.

I have no personal experience with replication so I cannot help you further with this topic.
