I am having trouble transfering calls generated from a prologix to the outside world. For example, if I call from the switch to an outside number I cannot then transfer that caller to another number outside the switch. If I call from the oustide world into the switch, then I am able to be transfered back outside of the switch. I have found that if I use conference I can get the call to go but I have to press the conference button twice then hang up. The customer wants to be able to transfer calls by using just the transfer button in the normal fasion. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem?

Thanks Richard

The feature is Outbound Trunk-to-Trunk Transfer. This feture poses a large security risk and is strongly discouraged by Avaya. In order to use the feature at least one of the trunks must be on a digital facility (T-1 or PRI), on the Trunk Group form the Disconnect Supervision - Out field must be set to 'y' and Receive Answer Supervision must also be 'y'. On the COS form the Trunk-to-Trunk Override field must be 'y' in the appropriate COS. On the System Features form Trunk-to-Trunk transfer should be set to 'none'. Please note - you run the risk of trunks getting locked-up when you use this feature.
