We have a ip office soe 3.2(17) from which we need to transfer calls of a night to a mobile. When transfered the call goes out through a Nokia 32 connectivity terminal.Once the caller hangs up the line is not released and no one else can get through to the mobile, just getting a busy tone.We have clear on disconnect enabled. I wonder if this is something to do with the mobile provider (O2) not being able to clear the call? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.Jon.

Analog trunks are can somewhat be troublesome with disconnects when you have trunk to trunk transfers. If you have a standard analog trunk from the telephone company, I would test with that trunk for the outgoing transfer and see if it will disconnect. If it does, I would say that the mobile provider is not seeing the call clear.

Thanks for the reply. It does seem to be a problem with the mobile provider.

I don't know anything about the Nokia unit, but it has to send loop disconnect to the IPO. Check with Nokia for the disconnect timer that it is sending, in milliseconds and match that in the IPO with the disconnect clear settings
