Transfer wizard cant find other computer

HI, I have a 3 computer network at home. I am running XP on two of them and am logged onto both of those with full administrator rights. I am trying to transfer settings and files from the old to the new using the Transfer Wizard over the network. After sitting for an hour or so gathering files the old computer says it cannot complete the tranfer because it cannot find the other computer. There is plenty of room on each hard drive for file gathering. I know the network works because I can copy files to and from each computer to the other. Anybody have any ideas. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...
