Transfer Logins to new server

Hiya,

I am relatively new at SQL server admin. We have transfered a database from one server to a shiny new one. We now have the problem that the logins did not come across. We deteched the old database and re-attached it to the new one, we also tried using a backup and then restoring that - no joy.

Any ideas/comments would be appreciated. It SQL Server 2000 running on Windows 2000 server.

If possible, your could use DTS and the Transfer Logins task to accomplish this.
