Are there any good training materials to teach Crystal reports to end users and developers? I looked at a few and have used some from Element K.

I'm looking to use this material in teaching classes.

Thanks
Dwight

I have a copy of the Element K tutorials. These are very basic and easy to understand. I think these would be perfect for an introductory class.

Dwight,

I do Crystal training classes here in Scotland. I recently started to use Hammerman's "jump start" manuals, and have been very pleased with them. They are certainly better (in my opinion) than ElementK. The manuals are available in book form, and you can download the accompanying data files and sample reports. See for more info.

You mentioned that yo also need to train developers. The Hammerman manuals are intended mainly for end-users (and power users), not programmers. I have my own course material for my Visual Foxpro / Crystal Reports course. I don't know of anything suitable for other languages.

I have tons of class reference material for Crystal Reports, including ElementK, Hammerman, FastPlanet, ActiveEducator, Keystone Learning Corp AND Seagate Software for an earlier version. That said, I concur with Mike that Hammerman is the best in terms of instruction and each "module" covers topics suitable to the target user i.e. beginner, intermediate etc. It's nicely written and has "hands on" class projects.

Hope this helps!

I learned Crystal using an on-line tutorial from CBT Training. It is expensive, but good value for money.
