Training Courses

I have been trawling the Internet for suitable training courses in Delphi. I have used delphi for a number of years now, I'm not an expert but I am familiar with most aspects of Delphi and would consider my skills as Intermediate. I have never had any formal training.

This is potentially a broad question I know but can anybody recommend a good Delphi training course, UK prefered but would also consider the US.

I'm not intrested in scripted courses where the teacher reads from a book or uses examples I could get myself from the Internet.

Some of the things I would like to learn more about are the time saving aspects of development, tips/tricks, also database development using mysql and/or access.

Although published in 1998, Delphi 4 Developer's Guide by Xavier Pacheco and Steve Teixeira, (Book & Cd-Rom Edition, Sams Publishing) is still listed as the #1 reference and tutorial for learning Delphi. Don't let "Delphi 4" discourage you, most of the example code will compile (thru at least D7) with little modification.
