Tracking Messages in the SMTP Queue

I have been having problems with a couple domains. When email is sent to them, it sits in the queue and says it is being "dropped by the remote host". Is this all on the receiving domain, or is there something else I can check in Exchange? Also, is there any way to see who is sending the messages by looknig in the System Manager? From what I can find, all I can see is the total number of messages and the message size.
