Hi guys,

I got some flash movies for which I would like to have some control over which other sites are using them (they are available for download from my site as a *.swf). I was thinking to us CGI for this:

When the movie is run from a certain site it will send variables to a CGI-script on my own site which will check these variables with a log-file if the site is not listed yet it will send an email to me and add the site to the log_file.

The variables need to give info about the site on which the movie is running (domain name and path to flash movie).

Any body knows if this is possible, if a script like this already exists or would like to let me know how this is done?

I’m just starting to work with perl!

Raoul
I guess this isn't possible! or is it?!
