I can't seem to figure out why I can't tracert or ping from a command line in Windows 2000.

Any ideas? I don't remember having to do anything special to 'install' the feature.

Thanks!

If you mean the EXEs aren't there, extract them from the W2K cd. (If you get the message "PING" is not recognized as an internal...) - this is what you should do.

If you get a message like "reply timed out" the command is working fine; the problem is with your network settings.

If you need help with extracting the files let me know.
