Hi,
Don't know if right forum. Having difficulty accessing 3 particular websites from within LAN. These sites are definitely available at present as I can access at home. All computers are affected within LAN. Browsing elsewhere is fine. When i perform tracert it doesn't get past router on these particular sites. Could this be ISP problem and should i contact them directly..Many thanks

really depends, do you adminstrate the LAN/WAN router, is there a FW in place, maybe these sites are blocked by company policy?

yes there is a pix firewall in place. We have no policy in place for blocking these sites.

well can you trace route to a site that you can browse to, sounds as if the ICMP might be blocked at the pix.

No web proxy in place. I can trace route to all other web sites find so ICMP is not getting blocked by pix.

well if there is nothing in the blocked list of IE on the pc then it must be a porting issue with the ISP, I can access it from my LAN via a proxy server. Or are you sure these IP's are not blocked on the pix?

No i don't have any IP's blocked directly on PIX. I will go back to ISP and see if I can get resolution. Tks for your help
