I have XP(5.1.2600) and when I cmd to a dos prompt and try to use the touch command (updates the date stamp on a profile) it says it's not recognized. This works in NT 4.0. Is the funtionality not present in XP or am I missing something? Thanks for any help.

TOUCH command not recognized in XP Dos version.

I've never seen 'touch' anywhere except *nix. But, it seems that there is some third party software that does
As smah notes, touch.exe is not a native Windows file, not even under NT.
