Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100 - Damaged bios

Hi

I have a toshiba sp6100, with a strange problem when trying to power it on, the indicator lights on the front show that the machine is on but there is no display, nor can i hear the actual machine being powered on. looking at toshiba's website

They indicate that bios is damaged, can anyone tell me a way of resetting this ?

I presume you have first checked the toggle between internal only, external only and both displays just in case it is that, but normally laptops require service engineers or warranty sendoff to fix hardware problems in my experience.
