Hi,

I have a toshiba satellite a10 laptop with a boot password (that I know). I just want to remove it, but it seems like it's impossible. Once you are in the bios the only thing you can do is change the password, their is no way of clearing it. Entering a blank password leaves the current password as is...

Any clues?

Ok I found the answer, you have to enter the same password on the change password screen in the bios and it goes back to no password. What a natural and explicit way of clearing a password.
