My boss has toshiba 6100. It worked fine the other day.
Now when you plug power the power pluged led comes green when you push the power on button nothing happens but the power pluged led turns orange and continues flashing indefinetely. unless you remove baterry and ac power the flashing won't stop.No other leds light, no hdd activity, nothing. I suspected mother board failure.

Any one experienced similar problem Please help

Definitely a hardware problem, which can be caused by either the MB, CPU, RAM, video card, etc.

Thanks for the reply

The funny thing is, when I switched on today it worked. What I did was removed the battery, plugged it to AC left there for about 24hrs. But again when I install the battery it automatically went to its previous state. this tells the battery is faulty and some switching device on the MB is protecting the system. Now I am waiting it to come again.
