Toshiba Satellite 4300 won't boot??

I have a Toshiba Satellite that will no longer boot?

When I switch the machine on the power light and battery light light up but the machine does not boot?

If I hit the carriage return button (enter key) the machine switches itself off?

I have swapped the HDD out but still no luck? Any ideas?

If you're getting no display, then that cause can be either a bad MB, CPU, RAM, or video card.
