URGENT HELP REQUIRED.

Have just built a machine that is running Win XP and Office XP and a 1800xp AMD processor. Most of the machine is running fine, but there is just one problem. When playing games through my Tosh DVD it will just close the game down. This does not matter which game I am playing and there is no particular time when it does it. I have got PowerDVD 3.0 installed and have applied the XP patch provided by CyberLink.

I have re-installed the software but still having the same problem. The DVD drive is new, so do not know it this or the software is the issue.

When looking in the Win XP problem log (event viewer) it does show PowerDVD to be experiencing a problem, so it appears to be the software.

Any ideas would be appreciated. ________________________________________

I would try uninstalling pdvd. and seeing if it still has the problem. or just try disabling anything that pdvd has in the startup or any autoruns of dvd movies etc...
