Toshiba CRT batteries

I need to replace a Toshiba laptop 6100 CRT battery. Has anyone ever did this before I open the case? Any guide lines I need to follow? I have open many laptop cases before. Are the batteries different than the regular watch batteries?

Never heard of CRT batteries (neither has Google). Need more information of exactly what you are looking for.

Why do you think you need a new battery? Is this the main battery, or the small battery located inside? I'm sorry, but I'm still not clear on what you want.

I think he meant RTC battery instead of CRT after thinking about it.

I have opened the Casing, but I do not see the RTC (cmos battery) does the battery look different in some laptops?
