Top X in a formula field

Hello, I am running Crystal Reports 11 and would like to know how to find the top 10 entries of a database field using a formula field. So this formula field when used in a cross-tab table will dispplay the top 10 entries for the database field.

I found out that you can do a group sort on a cross tab chart by righ clicking on it.
